This educational activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of patients and caregivers affected by childhood and adolescent Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

This educational activity has been developed by the Childhood Leukemia Foundation and Mechanisms in Medicine Inc.

The mission of the Childhood Leukemia Foundation is to promote patient education, advocacy, self-esteem and most of all – smiles. All programs are free of charge, and available to any pediatric cancer patient living in the continental United States. Each program has been specifically designed to help meet the emotional and educational needs of these very special children.

This website is part of the Animated Patient™ series developed by Mechanisms in Medicine Inc., to provide highly visual formats of learning for patients to improve their understanding, make informed decisions, and partner with their healthcare professionals for optimal outcomes.
